Our dog has been going through good days and bad days lately. When one night which was a bad day for our dog, we thought it was time but it was at night. We wanted to make sure he crossed over at home. So we called many places and no one was able to help due to after hours. I've been meaning to write this review since October 2022! It's so hard to write and think about loved ones who have passed on. Our pitbull was losing all function in his limbs to the point we were carrying him everywhere. We decided it was no way to live. After taking him to Yosemite and Big Sur, we knew it was time. If you're thinking of at-home euthanasia for your pet, let this be your sign to do it and to reach out to Dr. Chung. He was so compassionate, so communicative, so patient, so kind, and so efficient. I read a review that said he "disappeared into the background in the best way" and I agree. He's there, but he gives you space. He was the perfect mix of compassion and professionalism. He was so patient answering all my questions and was completely understanding when I wanted to postpone the euthanasia. When our family was finally ready to say goodbye, Dr Kevin arrived as scheduled and gently took care of everything. Dr Kevin is extremely understanding and empathetic in very difficult and emotional situations. Having to put a beloved fur baby to sleep is one of the most challenging situations a family will face. Dr Kevin was a tremendous support, guiding us throughout the process and helping our fur angel transition.

When we were faced with the decision about our old dog Lucy, we were not sure what our options were. I talked to some of my friends and some of them highly recommended home euthanasia. And it was the best decision for my family and my dear old dog, Lucy. It gave us a chance to say goodbye in a setting where Lucy can take her final breath. Doctor Kevin was gentle and patient with us and gave us ample time to mourn and say goodbye to our dog for the final time. I highly recommend this service and I highly recommend Doctor Kevin as well.
