Paste a Google Business Profile or Google Maps URL on the homepage and you get the same rich local-business preview that Yelp URLs have always produced — the business's rating, hours, services, and review context pulled in and rendered properly, not the generic feed layout. That parity now extends to full accounts too: a GBP-seeded customer's account is enriched at initialization with the same structured listing context that Yelp customers get, stored in a consistent shape that works regardless of which platform the business came from.
Cross-platform discovery is also live. A Yelp-seeded account will now automatically find and pull in the business's Google listing as well — matched by name and location with a strict guard so a business with no Google presence is never paired with a nearby one that happens to sound similar. The groundwork for the reverse direction (GBP → Yelp) is in place.
A few things that were quietly broken now work correctly. IndexNow submissions retry on transient gateway errors instead of silently dropping — a 502 or timeout no longer means a URL goes unsubmitted. The Coding Agents scan preset no longer includes a model that was returning rate-limit errors on every call and dragging scores down. On the local-business agent site, the rating panel now labels Yelp and Google as separate facts rather than mixing them, day names are properly capitalized, and a GBP onboarding flow derives a clean handle from the business name instead of a URL fragment.
