Partner integrations using the scan preview endpoint had been sending isPublic: true for months — that field was always quietly ignored and treated as false. A recent change turned that into a hard rejection, and live integrations started failing on every scan. The endpoint now accepts the field again, coerces it to false (partner scans are always private), and returns a deprecation warning in the response headers and body so your integration can clean it up without anything breaking in the meantime.
Businesses added by pasting a Yelp or Google URL now go through onboarding correctly. Two separate issues were causing the "Confirm your business" step to hang for over a minute and then show a profile with no name, website, or description. The root cause was a race condition where a partial database row was being treated as a complete profile, so the business details were never actually saved. Separately, review embeddings were running inline and blocking the whole step — that work now happens in the background, so the profile appears immediately.
Visual identity scans on Yelp- and Google-URL businesses now complete correctly instead of timing out. The scan was trying to crawl the Yelp or Google listing page directly; it now uses the brand's actual website, the same way the rest of onboarding does.
