When an AI crawler or a human visitor hits a dead URL on a brand's custom domain, they now get a page built in that brand's design — colors, fonts, avatar — with two clear paths: a structured feed for agents, and the marketing site for humans. Previously, unknown paths on a custom domain silently served the blog index, meaning crawlers were treating every broken URL as a duplicate of the home page. That's fixed.
The same logic applies to unknown sub-paths under a brand's public profile. Hitting something like /clay/boop used to redirect unauthenticated visitors to the login page, which was the wrong response in every way. It now returns an actual 404 with the brand's context intact.
The "Agent Pages" breadcrumb now works correctly. Clicking it from a profile or FAQ page used to land on a URL with no destination. It now redirects to the Profile agent page, which is where you'd want to be anyway.
Pendium's own 404 page was rebuilt as a live version of the dual-audience product — the same AI/human toggle from brand profiles, showing structured citable information about Pendium on one side and the marketing site on the other.
