Running out of credits no longer stops people from using the product. Free accounts with an empty balance can still chat with the agent, fix and publish blog posts and site pages, manage brand voice, goals, personas, and topics, organize workflows, and iterate on site design — as many turns as they want. The paid step now sits at the point where it makes sense: connecting a custom domain to put a finished site live. The things held back are the genuinely compute-heavy ones — visibility scans, writing new blog content, AI-building new pages, and pulling in new knowledge sources.
The platform now hosts local service guides at /research/{category}/{subcategory}/{state}/{city}. Each guide ranks the real businesses serving that market and shows their phone number, website, Google listing, Yelp page, and a 0–100 score reflecting how AI assistants currently describe them. Guides span 5 categories, 135 services, and 952 cities. Every listing includes a contact form — leads go to the Pendium team, who pass them along to the business.
