A batch of brand logos collected earlier this year was stored with the wrong file type — the downloader trusted what the source site claimed rather than checking the actual file bytes. The worst cases were SVG files labeled as JPEGs, which browsers refuse to render. Those logos appeared broken in generated site headers and in the design evidence used to build style guides.
The fix audits every stored logo against its real byte signature, re-uploads any mislabeled file under the correct type, and updates every reference to it — the brand avatar, public brand card, design evidence — in one transaction. If you had a logo showing as a broken image, it should now display correctly without any action on your part.
