Pendium can now read scanned PDFs and slide decks made of images. If a page has no selectable text, it reads the text in the pictures instead. This matters most for companies whose documentation, pitch decks, or product sheets exist only as scanned files.
The business interview on Fact Sheets → Business Knowledge is now a chat. The agent asks you questions one at a time, saves each answer as you go, and picks up where you left off if you close the window. The form it replaced is gone.
Site Analytics has been rebuilt around three tabs: Overview, Pages, and Setup. Overview shows what AI platforms actually did with your pages — used them in answers, crawled them for training, or sent people to your site — plus a before-and-after view of whether Pendium is making a difference. Pages lists every page on your connected sites with chips flagging specific opportunities, each telling you what to do about it. The numbers are cleaner too: bot traffic that was inflating answer counts is now correctly filed as crawler activity, and test data from scans no longer mixes into your real traffic figures.
The About pages a free brand sees in place of locked sections now show your actual data — your scan results, knowledge, pages, posts — rather than made-up demos. Where a section already has your data, the page leads with a headline about your brand and surfaces those numbers. The plan strip and free-brand banner are gone.
Several things now work correctly: the brand switcher shows your real brand name the moment setup finds it rather than defaulting to your URL; the Integrations window loads quickly on busy pages like Site Analytics; returning from connecting Google Analytics now opens the Integrations window directly on that integration. Uploaded file previews in Knowledge show the real page or slide number for each passage, the file type, and the actual file name and size. Your website source in Knowledge can no longer be accidentally deleted — it can be re-read, or replaced by updating your website in Brand Setup.
