The bot list that powers AI crawler detection updates automatically each week from an upstream feed. When that feed contained the same bot listed twice under different casing — say GPTBot and gptbot — the sync would hit a database conflict and fail silently. The list now deduplicates before writing, so the weekly update completes correctly.
