Questions about autopilot

What does autopilot do each week?

By default it runs one visibility scan and writes two posts a week. The scan asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews the questions your buyers ask, then records who gets recommended and why. The posts target the gaps that scan found. You can change both numbers in settings.

Where do the topics come from?

From your scans first. When AI names a competitor for a question you should own, that gap becomes a post. If there are no open gaps, autopilot works from the goals you set for the business. Before pitching topics, it reads the titles of your recent posts and anything in progress, which cuts down on overlap.

Will it sound like us?

Pendium builds a brand voice from your existing site and writing, and every post is drafted against it. Facts come from your knowledge base (your site, docs, and anything you upload) so posts describe what you sell, not a generic version of your category.

Can I review posts before they go live?

Autopilot publishes as it goes. Every post shows up in your workflow, where you can edit it, regenerate it, or pull it back to draft on your Pendium site (a copy already sent to your CMS stays there until you change it). If you'd rather approve each one first, run the same pipeline manually from a workflow instead of on autopilot.

I don't have a blog. Do I need one?

No. Pendium hosts a site for you, at a subdomain like agents.yourdomain.com or a path like yourdomain.com/blog. If you already run WordPress, Webflow, or Ghost, you can send posts there too.

Is this SEO?

It overlaps. Posts are indexable, have sitemaps, and you can connect Google Search Console. But the target is different: AI assistants pick one answer for one customer, and the way to win that is to be the clearest, best-supported answer. Autopilot measures progress by what AI says about you, not by keyword rank.
